THE STUDY OF FIGURES SKILL IN RESOLVING CONFLICTS OF VILLAGERS PEGAGAN LOR VIEWED FROM CIVIC EDUCATION PERSPECTIVE

Abstract


The study results show that: The factors that cause social conflicts in the Pegagan Lor village those are 1) gambling, 2) consume liquor, 3) low welfare and education of the society, 4) the character of the people is loud, arrogant and quick emotion, and 5) the implementation of dangdut entertainment or tarlingan is not orderly. Skills of community leaders in resolving social conflicts in the Pegagan Lor village which can include: 1) persuasive approach, the approach that promotes negotiation and deliberation, 2) mediation. 3) arbitation, and 4) forced or coercive approach, this is done if the warring parties is hard to reconcile. Constraints faced by community leaders in resolving conflicts in the Pegagan Lor village, including: 1) lack of openness of each party to the cause of the conflict, 2) the parties to the dispute agree to be true, and assuming each of the other groups, 3) dissatisfaction with both parties to the dispute between the receipt of a deal, until negotiations are done very tough and spend a long, 4) uneasy in taking decisions, because there is always the're not happy over the decision made public figures, and 5) availability of certain personages who do not want peace to happen. The efforts made by public figures in overcoming barriers to conflict resolution in the Village pegagan Lor varied enough distinction, among others by: 1) persuasive approach, by way of counseling to citizens about the importance of orderly and peaceful atmosphere within the community, 2 ) preventive approach, by way of athletic competitions such as football, table tennis, badminton and volleyball to strengthen related, and more intensive coordinated relationship with the police 3) repressive approach, by means of public figures with village officials will involve parents those involved in the conflict to assist efforts to solve the conflict in the family way, and handed over all the business of conflict to the police when the two parties is hard to be reconciled.
