Author Guidelines


The study program of Library and Information FIP-UPI Edulib, is a journal published two times a year, on each May and November. The journal is published by Prodi Library and Information Faculty of Education, University of Indonesia. The views expressed in this journal focused on the discussion of masalahmasalah related to Library and Information.
Terms of Writing Articles

  1. The article is a result of reflection thinking of research reports that meet the standards of scientific journals and has not pernahdipublikasikan in other media or in the process of editing in other jurnalberkala. With the approval of the article to be published in Edulib, the authors assign copyright itself tulisankepada Edulib.
  2. Indonesian manuscripts are generally based on the general guidelines Indonesian enhanced Spelling, Dictionary of Indonesian (KBBI), and the General Guidelines for the Establishment of a language center MONE term view: = indeks_berita. While the English text is generally based on the English Grammar (U.S.Style).
  3. Foreign words or terms yet transformed into the word / term Indonesia or not become a technical term, typed in italics. Direct quotation 5 lines or more typed single-spaced and given a new line.
  4. The format consists of writing the article title, author name and institution author, abstract, keywords, Introduction, Discussion, Conclusion, and References:

Title. Writing the title should be straightforward maximum of 12 words in Indonesian language text, and 10 words in the English language text. Name Authors and Writers Institute. Inclusion of lines of credit (byline) which includes names of authors without academic degrees, accompanied by the name of their home institution author and address of the institution where the research activities carried out and given a contact address or email the author. (For pemulis more than one person just write the address The email writer The main course)

Abstract. Each article must be made abstract Indonesian and English that describes the essence of the whole writing with a word count of 200 words. typed with letters Times New Roman size 10, single-spaced and paper type quarto size, 2.7 cm Top Page layout. Bottom of 2.7 cm. Left. 4 cm, and Right. 4 cm, then the position of recessed for the left side and the right side of 1.5 cm. Keywords. Written in Indonesian and English are advised 3 -6 words, starting from the specific to the general.

Preliminary. Contains background research, identification and formulation of problems, objectives and benefits. If not the result of research, also follow this rule. Preliminary description of no more than one page.

Discussion. Contains a study of theory and literature, research methods, and discussion of written explicitly about all the essentials of writing includes no pictures, charts, table calculation and data as well as boosting agent posts. If not research the rules of writing follow this rule. DESCRIPTION discussion of no more than 5 pages with character letters Times New Roman size 11 single-spaced and types kerta quarto size.

Conclusions. Reads the results or outcomes renewable thoughts written in a simple and easy to remember the reader about the meaning of a grain of authors writing conclusions. DESCRIPTION conclusions no more than one page.

Bibliography. Source references in the Bibliography must actually be used in the body of the article is in the background as well as discussions. Syntax as follows:

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
