MODEL PERILAKU PENGENDARA SEPEDA DI KOTA BANDUNG BERDASARKAN THEORY OF PLANNED BEHAVIOR

Abstract


Tingginya jumlah penggunaan kendaraan bermotor pribadi di Kota Bandung telah menyebabkan berbagai masalah di kota ini. Mengembalikan budaya bersepeda di masyarakat merupakan solusi paling mudah dan murah untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Berbagai promosi telah mulai dilakukan oleh berbagai pihak untuk mendorong masyarakat mengoptimalkan berpergian dengan sepeda. Pemahaman mengenai faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi niat mengoptimalkan berpergian dengan sepeda dapat membantu kegiatan promosi ini. Penelitian ini mengkaji Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) untuk mengeksplorasi dampak sikap, norma subjektif, dan kontrol perilaku terhadap niat untuk mengoptimalkan berpergian dengan sepeda. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pembagian kuesioner kepada 228 pengendara sepeda di Bandung. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa semua komponen TPB memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap niat. Sejumlah implikasi yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam perancangan promosi pengoptimalan berpergian dengan sepeda dibahas dalam penelitian ini.
