Penguatan kompetensi pedagogik dan wawasan kebhinekaan global bagi guru Sekolah Indonesia Johor Bahru Malaysia
Abstract
The government continues to transform the system to strengthen Indonesian teachers' character and competence. Its implementation involves various parties. However, cases that reflect teachers' weak character and competence continue to occur. Community service is a form of academic involvement that strengthens the character and competence of teachers. Held at the Sekolah Indonesia Johor Bahru (SIJB) Malaysia. The aim is for teachers to carry out their professional duties optimally in realizing educated student behavior and supporting SIJB in providing quality, clean, and effective education. The method used is to instill Pancasila character values and competent character through learning and training. Strengthening pedagogical competence and insight into global diversity increases learning experiences, broadens horizons, and motivates participants to become individuals with the character of a new generation of Indonesian teachers.
Abstrak
Transformasi sistem penguatan karakter dan kompetensi guru Indonesia terus dilakukan Pemerintah. Implementasinya melibatkan berbagai pihak. Namun kasus-kasus yang mencerminkan karakter dan kompetensi guru masih lemah terus terjadi. Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini suatu bentuk keterlibatan akademisi dalam penguatan karakter dan kompetensi guru. Dilaksanakan di Sekolah Indonesia Johor Bahru (SIJB) Malaysia. Tujuannya agar guru dapat menjalankan tugas keprofesiannya secara maksimal dalam mewujudkan perilaku siswa terpelajar dan mendukung SIJB menyelenggarakan pendidikan yang berkualitas, bersih, dan melayani. Metode yang digunakan penanaman nilai- nilai karakter Pancasila dan karakter kompeten melalui pembelajaran dan latihan. Kesimpulan penguatan kompetensi pedagogik dan wawasan kebhinekaan global menambah pengalaman belajar, memperluas wawasan, dan memotivasi peserta menjadi pribadi yang memiliki karakter guru Indonesia generasi baru.
