Abstract

Mosques have an important function in society as an essential part of religious life and civilization. This study investigates mosque management at Masjid Jami' Al-Huda in Grajagan Village, focusing on how religious activities motivate congregants. The mosque is essential in fostering religious, social, and educational interactions within a community characterized by religious diversity. A qualitative approach involved field observations and interviews with mosque management and community members. The community services aimed to identify the impact of religious activities on congregant motivation and to analyze factors that influence the effectiveness of these activities. The study found that effective management significantly increased participation and engagement, including planning, organizing, and controlling religious activities. Regular programs such as study groups and health services were well-received, contributing to a sense of community and spiritual fulfillment. However, challenges such as limited resources and the need for improved digital integration remain. The findings suggest that mosque management should prioritize strategic planning, engage youth in regular activities, and leverage digital platforms to boost participation and outreach. Collaborating with local institutions could also enhance the mosque’s role in the community.
