Mobile Academic Management And Informatiom System Berbasis Android dengan Push Notification untuk Menunjang Kegiatan Akademik Mahasiswa

Abstract


MyEdu merupakan prototipe sistem informasi akademik berupa aplikasi klien Android. Seluruh sistem baru ini terintegrasi dengan teknologi push notification yang mampu  memberikan notifikasi ke perangkat mahasiswa secara daring. Berbeda dari sistem informasi berupa website biasa, informasi pada mahasiswa dapat diterima mahasiswa secepat mungkin setelah informasi tersebut disebarkan dengan adanya teknologi notifikasi. Aplikasi yang terinstal pada perangkat smartphone memastikan mahasiswa dapat menerima notifikasi informasi akademik secara berkelanjutan. Informasi yang disajikan dapat dikelola oleh mahasiswa baik itu disimpan, diunduh, dibagikan antar aplikasi lain, dan ditambahkan ke kalender pengguna sebagai pengingat. Kampus juga dimudahkan dalam penyebaran informasi dan mengurangi ketergantungannya pada media sosial yang rawan dengan peniruan. Sistem baru ini dapat jadi andalan kampus dalam memberikan informasi akademik secara cepat dan efektif dalam rangka menunjang aktivitas akademik mahasiswa.
