Efektifitas Latihan Pliometrik Hurdle Hops Dan Squat Jump Terhadap Power Otot Tungkai Siswa Ekstrakurikuler Bola Voli Putra SMP Negeri 1 Pakis Aji Jepara 2024

Abstract


This research is motivated by the lack of maximum leg muscle power from students participating in the men's volleyball extracurricular SMP N 1 Pakis Aji Jepara. Based on this, the purpose of this study is to determine the effect of pliometric hurdle hops and squat jump training on leg muscle power of male volleyball extracurricular students of SMP N 1 Pakis Aji Jepara. The design used in this study was a two group pretest and posttes design. The results of this study indicate that 1.) Hurdle hops training has an effect on the leg muscle power of volleyball extracurricular students of SMP N 1 Pakis Aji Jepara with a t value for the pre-posttest group of hurdle hops training treatment of 26.458> 2.114 (t table = 14) and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. 2.) Squat jump training has an effect on leg muscle power indicated by the t value of 22.149 > 2.114 (t table = 14) with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05. 3.) Hurdle hops training is more influential seen from the t count which is higher than the squat jump with a difference of 4.309. The conclusion in this study is that hurdle hops and Squat jump pliometric exercises have a positive and significant effect on increasing leg muscle power. Based on the results of the research and conclusions, the researcher provides advice for trainers to consider providing a similar training program.
