MODEL INDUKTIF KATA BERGAMBAR BERBASIS HYPNOTEACHING UNTUK MENGATASI KESULITAN MEMBACA NYARING

Abstract


Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya siswa SMP yang mengalami kesulitan membaca nyaring. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengatasi kesulitan siswa dalam membaca sekaligus meningkatkan rasa percaya dirinya melalui penerapan model induktif kata bergambar berbasis hypnoteaching. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif berbentuk studi kasus, dengan subjek penelitian siswa SMP berkesulitan membaca nyaring. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa pedoman wawancara, tes, dan observasi, serta program pembelajaran individu sebagai dasar pemberian perlakuan. Pedoman wawancara digunakan untuk mewawancarai pihak-pihak yang dipercaya sangat mengenal dan berkontribusi terhadap kemampuan membaca siswa. Adapun pihak-pihak yang diwawancarai adalah guru bidang studi bahasa Indonesia di tempat subjek penelitian bersekolah, orang tua subjek, subjek penelitian, saudara subjek, guru SD subjek, dan saudara kandung subjek. Pedoman tes terdiri atas membaca nyaring, membaca pemahaman, dan menyimak. Pedoman observasi digunakan untuk mengamati proses perlakuan yang sedang diberikan, dan kemampuan membaca subjek. Berdasakan hasil tes yang dilaksanakan setelah pemberian perlakuan, terdapat peningkatan kemampuan membaca nyaring subjek penelitian.
