Peningkatan Minat Belajar Siswa Melalui Media Pembelajaran Tari Berbasis AI Di SMP Negeri 3 Kota Cimahi

Abstract


This research is motivated by the lack of students’ interest in learning dance among Class VII J students at SMP Negeri 3 Cimahi City. The low level of interest is not solely caused by students’ mindsets; in fact, it cannot be separated from the role and innovation of the teacher. This study aims to describe how to increase the learning interest of Class VII J students consisting of 30 students (17 male and 13 female) in the process of learning dance through the use of Artificial Intelligence-based video learning media. Dance learning using Artificial Intelligence videos was conducted in two meetings. In this research design, the method employed was a pre-experimental method using the One Group Pretest–Posttest Design model, involving purposive sampling. The results of the Normality Test indicate that the data are normally distributed. Therefore, the researcher used a t-test to determine whether there was a difference between the Pre-Test and Post-Test results in accordance with the hypothesis. The analysis results show that there is a significant effect of using Artificial Intelligence videos on the learning interest of Class VII J students at SMP Negeri 3 Cimahi City, as indicated by an increase in the average score from 43.03 to 49.06. This study recommends the use of Artificial Intelligence video media as an innovative and interactive alternative learning tool in dance education.
