Smart waste management berbasis web dengan monitoring real-time untuk optimalisasi operasional bank sampah
Abstract
Bersih Berseri Waste Bank RW 025 in Bahagia Village, Babelan District, Bekasi Regency needed a more structured and traceable way to manage transaction data. This community service activity implemented a web-based information system to digitize waste deposits, balance withdrawals, member data, and reporting. The system does not use sensors or Internet of Things (IoT); “monitoring” refers to transaction, balance, and history information being updated after an administrator records a transaction. Conducted from May to October 2026, the program included preparation and coordination, needs identification, system design and development, demonstration/testing, implementation, training, mentoring, and evaluation. Evaluation used a pre-test, post-test, and satisfaction questionnaire. The mean pre-test score among 21 respondents was 9.90/10, while the mean post-test score among 18 respondents was 9.76/10. Because the respondent counts differed and the responses were not fully paired, scores were compared descriptively and cannot establish a causal training effect. The satisfaction questionnaire completed by 18 respondents yielded a mean score of 4.46/5 (89.2%), with the highest score for improved understanding of digital record keeping (4.61). Quantitative baseline data on member count, monthly transaction volume, time required to prepare manual reports, and frequency of recording errors were not documented; therefore, operational efficiency impacts should be examined through further measurement.
