Implementasi website untuk meningkatkan penjualan usaha mikro kecil dan menengah (UMKM) pada produsen sepatu di Cangkuang Kulon, Kabupaten Bandung

Abstract


The digitalization of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector in Kabupaten Bandung still faces challenges, primarily due to limited human resources skilled in information technology. Medhed Footwear, a local shoe manufacturer, has yet to fully utilize digital technology to support marketing efforts. Therefore, website development has become a solution to improve business efficiency and competitiveness. This internship project was conducted at Medhed Footwear, Cangkuang Kulon, Kabupaten Bandung, form July 8 to August 10, 2024, with the goal of designing a website to support MSMEs digitalization, especially through a product consultation feature that can reach a wider market. The methods used include observation, interviews, and website needs analysis. The result is a website with a consultation feature that is expected to enhance marketing and facilitated customers access to product information. Evaluation indicates that this digitalization effort increases Medhed Footwear’s operational efficiency and market reach. Recommendations include regular content updates and team training to effectively manage the digital platform.
