Pelatihan dan pemanfaatan model evaluasi pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi brightest.id berbasis Computer Based System (CBT)

Abstract


The implementation of the online teaching and learning process demands that teachers master the developments in information technology and be more innovative in creating teaching materials. An effective and efficient evaluation system becomes a crucial aspect in supporting the achievement of educational goals. In efforts to improve the quality of learning evaluation, the implementation of technology in the form of Computer-Based Testing (CBT) offers a promising alternative, especially in this digital era. The training and utilization of the CBT-based learning evaluation system at SDS Muhammadiyah 08 Medan is part of the school's digitalization program. This activity involves collaboration between Universitas Negeri Medan and 25 teachers from SDS Muhammadiyah 08 Medan, aiming to enhance technological capacity in learning evaluation. More than half of the teacher participants were able to understand the use of the CBT-based brightest.id application, with 62% understanding and 27% having a strong grasp. Over half of the participants (40% very likely, 38% likely) also plan to use this application to develop evaluation models at SDS Muhammadiyah 08. This initiative can encourage broader use of technology among teachers and students, enhance student motivation, and generate a sustainable digital question bank system.
