Diseminasi virtual reality etnomatematika suku Dayak sebagai inovasi literasi numerasi di Sekolah Dasar
Abstract
This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to improve teachers' mathematical literacy and digital technology utilization skills through Virtual Reality (VR)-based training integrated with Dayak cultural ethnomathematics. Held at Muhammadiyah Pahandut Elementary School, Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan, the training was designed to be practical and contextual to address the challenges of low numeracy literacy and the lack of local culture-based learning innovations. Evaluation was conducted through pretest and posttest questionnaires on four indicators of mathematical literacy and four indicators of digital technology skills. The results showed an average increase of 30.25% in mathematical literacy and 37.5% in digital technology skills. These findings indicate that VR-based training and local culture are effective in building teachers' technological literacy, self-confidence, and pedagogical skills. The integration of VR in mathematics learning not only enriches students' learning experiences but also strengthens teachers' professionalism as agents of educational transformation. This training model has the potential to be replicated nationally as a sustainable basic education strategy rooted in local wisdom.
