Pelatihan kewirausahaan digital dan pariwisata berkelanjutan sebagai strategi pengembangan peluang usaha di sektor ekonomi kreatif
Abstract
This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to improve participants’ understanding and skills in digital entrepreneurship and sustainable tourism among Talaga Warna tourism managers and UPI student activity units, as well as to evaluate training effectiveness on participants’ comprehension. The program was implemented through a structured training method in three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Thirty-three participants were drawn from the Forest Village Community Institution (LMDH) of Talaga Warna Eco-Educational Tourism, the Resonansi TV Student Activity Unit, and the Mahacita Student Activity Unit of UPI. Training effectiveness was measured using the McNemar test at a significance level of α = 0.05 applied to paired categorical pretest and posttest data. Results indicate that participants gained significant knowledge and skills in digital entrepreneurship and sustainable tourism, both theoretically and practically. The McNemar test yielded χ² = 17.39 with p-value < 0.001, confirming a significant difference between pretest and posttest responses. The increase in the proportion of participants classified as “Comprehending” from 15.2% to 78.8% demonstrates that the training effectively improved participants’ understanding. This activity contributes to strengthening local capacity in community-based tourism areas and supports sustainable creative economy development.
