Abstract

Household industries contribute significantly to the local economy, especially in rural areas. In line with the government's Asta Cita program, these industries are encouraged to promote entrepreneurship and creative industry development. One promising domestic industry in Banjarangkan Village, Klungkung Regency, is a roast chicken business that has been in operation for twelve years. Mr. Made Bata manages the "Lestari" Roast Chicken business, which now promotes its products only in the hamlet and to the local population. The roasting procedure uses a straightforward technique with coconut husks and charcoal, which produces thick smoke that is harmful to the community's health and reduces visibility for passing cars. Consequently, there is a need to upgrade the workstation specifically the roasting stove to ensure more complete combustion. This community service initiative focuses on improving the workstation by modifying the stove to include a chimney, thereby achieving more efficient combustion while minimizing fuel consumption and smoke emissions. The endeavour adopts a proactive participation method that involves the business partner to facilitate a fluid, cost-efficient, and productive implementation procedure.
