Abstract


Media pembelajaran memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung proses belajar mengajar. Salah satu bentuk media yang banyak digunakan adalah video pembelajaran, karena sifatnya yang mudah diakses dan mampu menyajikan informasi secara visual dan auditorial. Namun, efektivitas sebuah video pembelajaran sangat bergantung pada bagaimana kontennya disusun. Artikel ini membahas prinsip-prinsip desain video pembelajaran yang efektif berdasarkan teori pembelajaran kognitif dari Richard E. Mayer. Teori ini menekankan pentingnya pengolahan informasi secara kognitif agar materi yang disampaikan dapat dipahami dan diingat dengan lebih baik oleh peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur. Hasil penelitian berupa panduan dalam merancang video pembelajaran yang selaras dengan prinsip-prinsip teori Mayer, yang kemudian diterapkan dalam pembuatan video sebagai bentuk implementasi dari temuan
