Analisis Kesulitan Siswa Kelas VI SDN Pandeglang 1 dalam Menemukan Ide Pokok Paragraf sebagai Alternatif Pembuatan Media Pembelajaran

Abstract
In sixth grade of Elementary School, one of the skills that students learn when reading is the ability to find the main idea of a paragraph. In this learning, students can develop their thinking skills, be able to explain the contents of the text and analyze paragraphs to find the main idea. This study aims to (1) Determine the difficulties of sixth-grade students of SDN Pandeglang in finding the main idea of a paragraph (2) Obtain learning media to find the main idea of a paragraph for sixth-grade students based on the results of the analysis of the difficulties of sixth-grade students of SDN Pandeglang 1. This study is a qualitative study with a content analysis method. Data collection techniques by means of observation, in-depth interviews and document analysis. Data analysis techniques from data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results of the study showed that there were difficulties for students in understanding the meaning of the main idea of the paragraph, difficulties for students in sorting out main sentences and explanatory sentences and a lack of vocabulary. Furthermore, the researcher created learning media in the form of animated videos to make it easier for students to understand the material on the main idea of the paragraph and published it via YouTube.
