Kompetensi Guru TK Di Kabupaten Sikka Ditinjau Dari Kualifikasi Akademik Dan Masa Kerja

Abstract


In become a professional teacher, the teacher is required to have four competence i.e.
Pedagogic, personality, professional and social. To assess a teacher competency or not, theGovernment has implemented a Uji Kompetensi Guru (UKG) test by offline and online.Several factors are believed to become the deciding factor in a teacher's competence, such as academic qualification an years of service. This research was conducted to examine systematically the competence of teachers in terms of academic qualification and years of service. This research was conducted in Sikka, East Nusa Tenggara. The methods used in this research are a method of Ex Post Facto. Determination of the sample in this study using the Cluster Random Sampling technique with the total number of teachers is 383 people. Data retrieval using the now deployed on 96 kindergarten teachers. The Data obtained were analyzed using nonparametric test, i.e. kruskall walis to find differences teacher competency based on academic qualification and spearman rank correlation to find the relationship teacher competency with years of service. The results of this research indicate that (1) there may be differences of teacher competence based on academic qualification and (2) there is no relationship between the competency with years of service. .
