Inovasi Pendidikan: Pemanfatan Teknologi Informasi dalam Meningkatkan Kualitas Pembelajaran di SMK Bina Tama Sleman

Abstract


This research aims to analyze the utilization of information technology as an educational innovation to enhance the quality of learning at SMK Bina Tama Sleman. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. Conducted at SMK Bina Tama Sleman, the research involves school principals, teachers, and students as subjects. The researcher also gathers relevant literature sources on the research topic, such as books and scholarly journals. Data analysis utilizes the Miles and Huberman model (Data Collection, Data Presentation, Data Reduction, Conclusion Drawing). The findings of the research indicate that: 1) SMK Bina Tama Sleman actively adopts information technology, incorporating hardware, software, and various applications to enhance administrative efficiency and enrich the learning process. 2) The implementation of information technology in education aims to make learning more engaging, increase student motivation, and provide information technology skills in line with the Diffusion of Innovation theory, reflecting progress in educational innovation. 3) The application of information technology at SMK Bina Tama Sleman has positive implications as an educational innovation in improving the quality of learning and shaping graduates ready to face challenges in the digital era.
