Development of Prezi Application-Based Learning Media on Making Sewing Edge Fragments in the Family Welfare Education Study Program
Abstract
This research was motivated by the limited learning media
for the Basic Fashion Course regarding the completion of
sewing edges. This research aims to: (1) plan the
development of prezi application-based learning media on
the completion of sewing edges based on needs analysis, (2)
develop prezi application-based learning media on the
completion of sewing edges, (3) validate learning media
through expert judgment. The research model used is PPE
(Planning, Production, Evaluation). Participants in this study
amounted to two validators consisting of media experts and
material experts. The results showed that: (1) learning
media in Basic Fashion Subjects are limited to powerpoint
projection media and required video work steps for
finishing sewing edges, (2) development of prezi
application-based learning media through the stages of
design, manufacture, and completion, (3) the validation
results show that the prezi application-based learning
media on the completion of the sewing edge is very feasible
so that it can be used as a medium during the learning
process. Recommendations in this study can be followed up
by implementing prezi application-based learning media in
the manufacture of sewing edge finishing fragments.
