Studi Minat Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Akuntansi Dasar Kelas X Program Keahlian Akuntansi di SMK Negeri Kabupaten Majalengka Berdasarkan Pola Asuh Orang Tua

Abstract


This study aims to determine the description of students' interest in learning in Basic Accounting subjects, parenting styles of students' parents and differences in student learning interests based on parenting patterns. The method used is a comparative descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The research sample consisted of 250 students of class X Accounting Expertise Program at SMK Negeri Majalengka Regency with a sampling technique using simple random sampling. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the One Way ANOVA Test with the help of the IBM SPSS version 26 software program. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis, students interest in learning in Basic Accounting subjects was in the medium category, and the parenting patterns of parents which were the majority owned by students were authoritative parenting, then authoritarian parenting, permissive parenting, and neglectful parenting are parenting styles minority owned by students. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in interest in learning in Basic Accounting subjects based on parenting patterns with the highest average value of interest in learning being in students who have authoritative parenting, and the lowest average value of interest in learning is in students who have neglectful parenting. This means that to be able to obtain a high interest in learning, the supporting factor that needs to be considered is parenting style.
