Pengaruh Karakteristik Kewirausahaan dan Keterampilan Berwirausaha Terhadap Keberhasilan Usaha Produksi Simping di Kabupaten Purwakarta

Abstract

This study aims to describe the characteristics of entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship skills, and business success, as well as to determine the effect of entrepreneurial characteristics and entrepreneurial skills on the success of the simping production business in Purwakarta Regency. This research is quantitative research with a descriptive verification method. The data collection technique used in this study was in the form of a questionnaire distributed to the scallop production entrepreneurs in the Simping Industry Center, Purwakarta Regency as many as 43 people as the population and sample. Sampling technique with purposive sampling. The instrument validity test used product moment and the reliability test used Cronbach's alpha. Classical assumption test includes normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test with the help of IBM SPSS version 26. The data analysis technique used multiple regression. From the results of the t-test calculations on each variable of entrepreneurial characteristics and entrepreneurship skills, it is known that tcount > ttable, namely the entrepreneurial characteristic variable, obtained tcount : 2.444 > ttable : 1.683 and entrepreneurial skills variable tcount : 4.988 > ttable : 1.683. Based on the descriptive analysis of entrepreneurial characteristics, entrepreneurship skills, and business success are in the high category. The results of this study indicate that the characteristics of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial skills affect the success of the simping production business in Purwakarta Regency.
