Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in developing generations that are adaptive, innovative, and sustainability-oriented. In vocational education, entrepreneurship education enhances employability while fostering entrepreneurial intention aligned with sustainable development. This study examines the relationship between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial intention through the lens of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). Using a qualitative library research approach, academic articles, books, and institutional reports published between 2015 and 2025 were systematically reviewed. A bibliometric analysis of 100 research abstracts reveals strong linkages between entrepreneurship, sustainable entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. The findings indicate that entrepreneurship education and self-efficacy are key determinants of entrepreneurial intention. Experiential, collaborative, and contextual learning approaches effectively cultivate entrepreneurial literacy grounded in sustainability values. In addition, internal factors such as self-confidence and external factors, including institutional and community support, strengthen entrepreneurial motivation. The study highlights the need for entrepreneurship curricula that integrate economic, social, and ecological dimensions to prepare future entrepreneurs for inclusive and sustainable development.
