Pengaruh Dukungan Sosial Orang Tua, Guru dan Teman Terhadap Keterlibatan Siswa

Abstract


Proses pendidikan yang panjang membutuhkan adanya tingkat student engagement (keterlibatan siswa) yang tinggi agar tujuan pendidikan dapat tercapai. Penelitian ini ingin menguji pengaruh dukungan sosial dari orang tua, guru, dan teman terhadap keterlibatan siswa. Sampel merupakan 357 siswa (santri) dalam sebuah pesantren. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan secara positif dari dukungan guru dan teman terhadap keterlibatan siswa. Namun, dukungan orang tua tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap keterlibatan siswa. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam konteks pesantren, peran sosial dari guru dan teman sebaya lebih dominan dalam membangun keterlibatan siswa dalam kegiatan belajar. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya peningkatan kualitas interaksi sosial di lingkungan pendidikan untuk memperkuat keterlibatan siswa.
