DESAIN KAWASAN HIJAU DAN BERKELANJUTAN DI ALUN-ALUN KOTA KLATEN

Abstract


Kawasan Alun-Alun Kota Klaten merupakan salah satu ruang terbuka publik di Kabupaten Klaten yang memiliki fungsi sebagai ruang rekreasi. Kawasan tersebut terletak di Kecamatan Klaten Tengah, yang berdasarkan RTRW Kabupaten Klaten Tahun 2011-2031 kawasan Alun-Alun Kota Klaten direncanakan menjadi Kawasan Perkotaan Kabupaten Klaten. Sebagai Kawasan Perkotaan Kabupaten Klaten, Kawasan Alun-Alun Kota Klaten diharapkan mampu menyediakan ruang untuk kegiatan pemerintahan, pelayanan sosial-ekonomi, komersial, industri, pendidikan, dan hunian. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menghasilkan rencana desain dari kawasan Alun-Alun Kota Klaten yang dapat menyediakan ruang untuk mengakomodasi aktivitas-aktivitas tersebut. Untuk menciptakan rencana desain tersebut dilakukan studi best practice, yang menghasilkan konsep sustainable green design. Konsep tersebut menghasilkan rencana desain pada kawasan meliputi penataan lingkungan dan aktivitas sosial-ekonomi. Rencana desain tersebut dilakukan melalui proses analisis  yang menghasilkan rencana zonasi kawasan untuk menciptakan efisiensi penggunaan lahan. Kemudian analisis  elemen rancang kota yang akan menghasilkan rencana desain atau master plan kawasan yang dapat memberikan arahan perencanaan kota.
