ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KURANG BERFUNGSINYA TERMINAL BUS KABUPATEN KUDUS

Abstract

In a city, facilities and infrastructure are needed that can accommodate the activities of its residents, so that all activities or activities in the city can be carried out properly. One of the city's infrastructure that is very useful to help community activities is the Terminal, both passenger and goods terminals. Terminal is a public building or road transportation infrastructure as a stop and departure for public transportation to raise and lower passengers and deliver passengers to their destination. The terminal is certainly needed by the community because it is very influential on life and is needed to help facilitate community activities, both commercial and other activities. To achieve the goals of the community, especially those who want to use public transportation, usually gather at the terminal to wait for the bus according to their respective goals, so that a terminal building is expected to be able to provide comfort and security to users in accommodating all their activities. The Kudus bus terminal is a type A terminal that is used to transport passengers, the terminal, which is located on Jalan Raya Kudus Pati, Jati Subdistrict, is a terminal with a large capacity, but the Kudus bus terminal lately looks quieter than before. The purpose of this study is to find out what factors make this Kudus Bus Terminal not functioning properly, this study uses a qualitative method by collecting direct observation data and interviews with users. The study found that the lack of functioning of the terminal was caused by several factors, namely the user felt uncomfortable when in the terminal because the main and supporting facilities of the terminal were inadequate
