IMPLEMENTATION OF SMART VILLAGE (SMART LIVING AND SMART ECONOMY) IN PANGANDARAN VILLAGE, WEST JAVA

Abstract

This research aims to identify the implementation of the Smart Village (Smart Living and Smart Economy) program in Pangandaran village. In 2020 the Pangandaran village government, the ministry of village, development of disadvantaged region and transmigration (Kementrian Desa PDTT) collaborated with PT.Telkom Indonesia to build a Smart Village Nusantara program as an initiative and effort to create an independent and productive village by connecting every entity in the village into one digital ecosystem to improve the socio-economic life of the community and the village environment. The focus of this research is examining various implementation programs or dimensions of Smart Village (Smart Living and Smart Economy) in Pangandaran village. The research carried out was descriptive qualitative research using literature study, observation, and interview methods. The results of this research show that the use of technology in the living and economic dimensions in Pangandaran village, the availability of supporting facilities, and the integration of the village area with other villages shows that there is an implementation of the Smart Village Nusantara program in Pangandaran Village.
