Systematic Literature Review: Tradisi Arsitektur TradisionalVernakular dalam Konteks Kampung Kota di Nusantara

Abstract


Traditional-vernacular architecture has long been an integral part of cultural heritage in the archipelago, playing an important role in maintaining local identity and environmental sustainability. In the context of kampungurban settlements, this architecture plays an increasingly important role in facing the challenges of urbanization and modernization. This study aims to investigate the important role of traditional-vernacular architecture in preserving identity and cultural heritage in the context of kampung-kota settlements in the archipelago. Through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this research method involves searching, identifying, collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing data from various related literature. Of the 200 articles analyzed, 13 articles were selected that reveal various aspects of traditional-vernacular architecture in the context of kampung-urban settlements. The research findings highlight the importance of integrating traditional architecture with environmental, social, and cultural, as well as the role of vernacular architecture in creating settlements connected to local identity. The analysis also revealed the impact of economic and social changes on traditional settlement patterns and architecture. Overall, the study provides in-depth insights into how local culture and traditional values influence settlement construction and maintenance in different regions of Indonesia.
