IMPLEMENTASI PENDIDIKAN SENI DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MENULIS PERMULAAN PADA SISWA DYSGRAPHIA

Abstract


This study attempts to apply art education in early writing to children with dysgraphia or students with learning disabilities. The difficulties of writing experienced can be caused by various factors such as improper motor motor coordination, fine motor or learning in the classroom itself which lacks the practice of writing skills. So that makes students have trouble learning to write or dysgraphia. The learning effort done to improve students' writing result is by applying hand lettering arttechnique learning. Implementation of this learning is carried out by incorporating elements of art education such as coloring objects, searching for object differences, printing wavy lines and printing letters using hand lettering art techniques. Through hand lettering art techniques, students can write letters with consistency, can use capital letters with precise and stable writing flow. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability to write the beginning of the students who have difficulty learning to write with the approach of single subject research (SSR) for data collection of this study. The results showed that the application of hand lettering art techniques can improve the learning outcomes of the subject in the beginning writing lesson. As well as a considerable increase in results in learning makes this application has considerable effectiveness.
