This research is based on low skills of fifth-grade in cooperation skills. Itcaused by the learning activity is centered on teachers and students which are onlyusing speech methods and students are less accustomed to learning. Thus, to improvestudent cooperation skills, the researcher uses the cooperative learning model of thetournament games type to enhance the teamwork skill of fifth-grade primary school ofSDN SBG. The research method is the class action research (PTK) model of Kemmisand Taggart. The subject is 32 fifth graders. The instrument of this research consisted ofa teacher and student activity observation sheet. Data collected through observationtechniques, field notes and documentation. Qualitative data were analyzed using Milesand Hubermens’s data analysis which consisted of data reduction, data presentation,and drawing conclusions and verification. Quantitative data uses a descriptivestatistical analysis that uses precentages and averages. The results of this study indicatethat the application of the cooperative games model temas games tournament canimprove the collaboration skills of fifth-grade students at SDN SBG.
