PENERAPAN NHT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KERJA SAMA DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS KELAS V
Abstract
Abstract: This research is motivated by the low ability of cooperation and the learning outcomes of fifth grade students in state elementary schools in the city of Bandung. This is due to the lack of student contributions to group learning. This study aims to describe the application of the Numbered Head Together type of cooperative learning to improve cooperative skills and social learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students. This research method is a class action research adapted from Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The study was carried out in two cycles with the research instrument implementing sheet Numbererd Head Together, an observation sheet of cooperative ability, an individual evaluation sheet. Research subjects VA class students totaling 24 students. The results of the first cycle showed the ability of students to cooperate with each indicator increased by the number of six indicators namely 79%, 78%, 66%, 76%, 72%, and 68% with mastery learning reaching 46%. While the second cycle obtained the results of each indicator that is 94%, 87%, 91%, 92%, 92%, and 93% with mastery learning reaches 88%. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of the Numbered Head Together type of cooperative learning in class V is proven to be able to increase the ability of students to cooperate and study social studies. Therefore, it is hoped that cooperative learning with the Numbered Head Together type can be used as an alternative in carrying out learning activities in the classroom to increase the ability of cooperation and student learning outcomes
