PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PERCAYA DIRI SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


This research is based on the law self-confidence of students in the learning process. This is based on negative findings when the researcher was researched, in the learning process the students were shy to talk in front of the class, when there was lesson the students not really understand they tend to be quiet and didn’t want to ask, they dind’t want to answer teacher’s question because afraid of being wrong, the students afraid to appear in front of the class. This research aims to describe the application of jigsaw type cooperative learning to increase self-confidence of the 4th grade students in elementary school. The method used in this research is the research class action with Kemmis and Mc. Taggart design which consist of planning, action, observation, and reflection. This research is done as much as two cycles. This subject research is the 4th grade students in elementary school amounted 22 people. Data collection tool such as observation, field notes, and documentation. Data processing in the form of qualitative data and quantitative. The research findings show that there is an increase of confidence in fourth grade students in elementary school by applying of jigsaw type cooperative learning.
