ANALISIS GEJALA STEREOTIPE PADA GAMBAR CERITA SISWA KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


The research was conducted at one of the elementary schools in Bandung city. This research was intended to describe and analyze the type and cause of stereotypes in the story picture made by fifth grade students of elementary school. This research is qualitative descriptive study. This research focused on the type and causes of stereotypes in the fifth grade class story picture. Data obtained from observation techniques, interviews and documentation from several sample story pictures of students' work. Data is analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Validity of data acquired through research instruments and triangulation. The research finding three types of dominant stereotypical symtomps in 28 student story picture, that type of stereotype is:(1) total stereotype symptom or partially stereotype symptom where the child repeats the concept of images, image objects, or colors in the overall picture in the picture which has been mad, (2) object stereotype symptom is a repetition of line , fields and colors in an picture.(3) element stereotype symptom is repeated where the students create a form and restate their new circumstances or forms. Stereotype symptom wasappearing caused by two factors: Intrinsic factor and extrinsic factors.
