PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NHT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS III SD

Abstract


The background of this research is the low learning outcomes of the third grade students of SDN X in the city of Bandung. To overcome this problem, researchers applied Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type cooperative learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement in learning outcomes of class III students after applying NHT type cooperative learning. The research method used was classroom action research from Kemmis and McTaggart. The subjects of this study were 23 grade III students. Data collection techniques in the form of test and non-test techniques. Processing data using qualitative and quantitative techniques. This research was conducted in two cycles. The results showed that students' mastery learning in Indonesian language subjects from the first cycle was 60.87% which increased in the second cycle of 91.30%. In the civic education subjects, from the first cycle of 73.91%, were increased in the second cycle which was 91.30%. The mathematics subjects, from the first cycle 95.65% were increased in the second cycle which was to be 100%. So it can be concluded that by applying Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type cooperative learning can improve outcomes of grade III elementary school students.
