Abstract


Character education is one of the basics of important education, there are at least two subjects that are given to foster the character and character of students, namely Religious Education and Civics. Teachers, students and parents are related to the importance of buiding character education, especially in the subject of Citizenship Education. In the 2013 curriculum, learning media greatly facilitates students in understanding the material presented. One of the media that can be developed to support Civics learning, especially in the 3rd grades elementary school cooperation material, is Fun Thinkers Book. This media will provide a different atmosphere that can change students to know the types of cooperation with the form of a book in which there is a game of matching pictures that match the cooperation material. This learning media is developed through scientific stages so that it can become a quality development product. The model used in this study is the Design and Development (DnD) model through the PPE (Planning, Production, and Evaluation) stages. The design of the Fun Thinkers Book learning media consists of 8 pages that contain the notion of cooperation, the benefits of cooperation and examples of working together in the school, home and community environment.
