UPAYA GURU DALAM MENGATASI KESULITAN BELAJAR MEMBACA PERMULAAN SISWA KELAS II SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


This research is motivated by a situation where there are students who have difficulty learning to read early in class II SD Negeri Region IV Pasar Minggu District. This study aims to find out how the teacher's efforts in overcoming the difficulties of learning to read grade II elementary school students in Region IV DKI Jakarta. The research method used in this research is descriptive method, the research population is 20 grade II teachers at SD Negeri Region IV Subdistrict. Sunday Market, and the data collection used is using an open questionnaire with non-statistical data analysis techniques. The results showed that the results of effective efforts to overcome difficulties in learning to read originally according tothe type were for types of difficulty recognizing letters, reading words, reading meaningless words, and listening and understanding through dictation. An effective effort is to guide students online or understand offline. On the type of difficulty in reading an effective effort is to provide reading exercises. And the type of difficultyin understanding the readings is an effective effort is to provide reading exercises and retell the readings that are read. The conclusion in this study is that an effectiveeffort for teachers to do is to carry out online and offline guidance, provide readingexercises and retell readings.
