Abstract


This study discusses how to develop financial literacy teaching materials and the results. Financial literacy education is a person's activity in applying, understanding, and managing information to make a financial decision. Financial literacy is a life skill that must be possessed by students because of the impact on them when they go directly to the community. However, in Indonesia, financial literacy education is still lacking. In accordance with Ikka Nur Wahyuny's study in his journal "Development of financial literacy education based on the values ??of corruption as a social investment is a thought". He explained that the application of financial literacy learning is still lacking in schools. Because there is still a lack of financial literacy in schools, there are no source books or teaching materials. Therefore, researchers develop teaching materials as a way to improve students' financial literacy skills. In this study, researchers used qualitative methods, to describe teaching materials that have been validated by experts. This study will show whether the teaching materials that have been developed by researchers are appropriate and can be used in the field or not. This research also has a positive effect because it is a new source of teaching for teachers and new understanding for students. Because there is still a lack of financial literacy knowledge in schools.
