Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has made the implementation of learning transition from face-to-face classes to online learning. Based on observations at school, there are several applications that are used to support learning including WhatsApp, Zoom, and ClassDojo. Based on the survey results and supported by previous research, WhatsApp has proven to be less effective for use in learning, while for the use of Zoom there are several obstacles such as not all students can take Zoom due to limited internet facilities. One of the alternatives found for this problem is to use ClassDojo. The purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of ClassDojo as an online learning application in grade II elementary school. The method used in this research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The participants or research subjects were one class teacher and 28 second grade students at SDN X. Data collection techniques in this study used observation and documentation. Data processing was carried out using quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis techniques according to the type of data obtained. From the research conducted, the results show that the ClassDojo application is proven to be very effective with an effectiveness level of 88.9%.
