PENGEMBANGAN MULTIMEDIA INTERAKTIF BERBASIS METIDE SUKU KATA UNTUK MEMBACA PERMULAAN SISWA DI KELAS I SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


The purpose of this research is to produce interactive multimedia products based on the syllable method for early reading of students in grade I Elementary School. The research was motivated from the observation made in the first grade of primary school which are (1) Terdapat students who can not read; (2) Media thelessons used by the teacher in learning to read the beginning are less varied; (3) Teachers rarely use learning media other than books in early reading lessons because of media limitations. This research is a D&D development research (Design and Development) by applying the development stages according to Peffers, et al. The results showed that the media developed by the author was feasible to use. Media expert gave an assessment with an achievement rate of 87%, a material expert gave an assessment with an achievement rate of 97%, and an education practitioner gave an assessment with an achievement rate of 76.6%. Thus, interactive multimedia based on the syllable method for early reading learning in grade I Elementary School obtained a very good (very valid) interpretation. Therefore, it can be concluded that this learning medium is feasible to be used in learning.
