PENGEMBANGAN MODUL “TANGAN” (CINTA LINGKUNGAN) BERBASIS CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN ECOLITERACY SISWA KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR
Abstract
This research aims to describe the design of the "TANGAN" (Cinta Lingkungan) module based on a contextual teaching and learning approach, develop a "TANGAN" module design based on a contextual teaching and learning, describe the results of expert validation of the "TANGAN" module and to improve the ecoliteracy of fourth grade students. This research uses natural science subjects with basic competencies 3.8 and 4.8 and uses 3 ecoliteracy indicators including anticipating unwanted consequences, understanding how nature sustains life, and making the invisible visible. The "TANGAN" module based on a contextual teaching and learning approach contains front and back covers, introductory sections, content and closing sections. This research method uses Design and Development (D&D) research methods with the ADDIE model, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The instruments used in this study include a questionnaire for validation and a test to measure the increase in students' ecoliteracy. The results of the validation of the experts stated that the "TANGAN" module based on the "Very Appropriate" contextual teaching and learning was used with an average percentage of 97%. The “TANGAN” module was implemented for fourth grade elementary school students in Bandung. Based on the results of the trial, there were significant results with an average pretest of 58.5 and an average posttest of 86 which were in the "Good" category. So it can be concluded that after using the "TANGAN" module based on a contextual teaching and learning, there is an increase in the ecoliteracy of fourth grade elementary school students
