PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA VIDEO ANIMASI UNTUK MENUMBUHKAN KARAKTER MANDIRI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS II SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


This research aims to develop a learning media based animation video to grow independence of student’s learning. This media was developed by using Design and Development (D&D) method with the developed model by Richey and Klien, namely PPE (planning, production, and evaluation). The results of this study are; (1) an animation video has been developed that can be used in the sub theme “Tugasku Sehari-hari di Rumah”; (2) validation results from the experts obtained 93,06% in the "very good" category. For the media design obtained 97.9% in the "very good" category, then for the material assessment obtained 97.2% in the "very good" category. Lastly, the assessment on the language used obtained 84.09% in the "good" category; and (3) after the animation video was tested on 5 second grade students during learning, the result of the observation showed that the independence of student’s learning with 5 indicators obtained an average percentage 73% in the "good" category.
