PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA POP-UP BOOK “KOMOBA” UNTUK MEMFASILITASI PEMBELAJARAN KARYA SENI KOLASE MOTIF BATIK DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


This research is motivated by the lack of availability of interesting learning media for students and teachers only rely on thematic books as support. This causes the learning of collage art at the school to be monotonous. Another problem is that until now, knowledge about Batik has not been conveyed so students have minimal knowledge about various kinds of Indonesian batik motifs. Therefore, Pop-up book medium can be used as an interesting learning medium to overcome these problems. The purpose of this study is to develop and determine the feasibility of the KOMOBA Pop-up book medium to facilitate learning of batik motif collage artwork in elementary schools, especially for fourth-grade students. The research method used in this study is Design and Development (D&D) with a PPE model consisting of three stages, namely planning, development, and evaluation. The feasibility of the KOMOBA Pop-up book media was obtained from the validation results of material experts, medium experts, and learning practitioners. The KOMOBA Pop-up book medium obtained an average score of 98.64% in the "Very Eligible" category, which means that the developed KOMOBA Pop-up book medium is suitable to be used to facilitate learning of batik motif collage art in elementary schools.
