PENGEMBANGAN MODUL IPS MATERI INTERAKSI MANUSIA DENGAN LINGKUNGAN BERBASIS LITERACRAFT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN GREEN BEHAVIOUR SISWA KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


This This study was conducted in response to the low level of students’ green behavior and the absence of modules supporting environmental awareness. The research aims to develop a literacybased social studies module on human–environment interaction to improve the green behavior of fifth-grade elementary students. Using the Design and Development (D&D) method by Branch, the study followed the ADDIE stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The module was systematically designed to include the cover, student identity, introduction, table of contents, competency mapping, learning objectives, instructions for use, learning materials, practice questions, worksheets, reflection journals, achievement indicators, and answer keys. Expert validation—conducted by material, media, and module experts— yielded an average score of 91.4% in the very good category. Field testing through pre-test and post-test showed a score increase from 51.6 to 88.4, and the N-Gain analysis resulted in 76.67%, categorized as effective. These findings indicate that the developed social studies module is feasible and effective in improving students’ green behavior..
