PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN POWERPOINT INTERAKTIF UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PKN SISWA KELAS 4 SD

Abstract


Low student involvement often makes Civics learning monotonous, resulting in poor learning outcomes. This study aimed to develop an interactive PowerPoint media to improve Civics achievement among 4th-grade elementary students. The research used a Design and Development approach with the Reeves model: (1) collaborative problem identification, (2) development of theorybased and technology-supported solutions, (3) iterative testing and refinement, and (4) reflection to generate design principles. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires at SDN 1 Pasanggrahan, Garut. Expert validation from material, media, and learning specialists yielded an average score of 3.8 (very good). A one-session trial indicated high student enthusiasm and improved learning outcomes across cognitive (test results), affective (observations), and psychomotor aspects (folk song performance). The interactive PowerPoint media is valid, feasible, and effective as an alternative learning resource to enhance Civics learning outcomes, particularly on Indonesian cultural diversity for Grade 4 students.
