STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN DALAM PENDIDIKAN INKLUSI DI JENJANG SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


Inclusive Education as a system of providing education to students who have disabilities and potential intelligence and/or special talents. Through inclusive education, it is expected that children with special needs can be educated together with other normal children, the goal is that there is no gap between children with special needs and other normal children, it is also expected that children with special needs can maximize their abilities and potential. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive method. At SDN Karangbesuki 4, the independent curriculum is used by limiting the number of children with special needs in each class to a maximum of two students. The learning strategy used for children with special needs (ABK) who experience speech delays is highly dependent on the results of psychological and psychiatric assessments, which help teachers adjust their teaching approaches. There are several challenges faced at SDN Karangbesuki 4, namely adjusting the material to the psychology and ability levels of students. In addition, student assessments and the lack of teacher readiness in guiding students with special needs other than speech delay students at the school.
