ANALISIS PENGARUH MANAJEMEN WAKTU DAN MOTIVASI MENGAJAR TERHADAP KINERJA DOSEN

Abstract


ABSTRAK

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh hasil analisis dan interpretasi pengaruh manajemen waktu terhadap kinerja dosen; pengaruh motivasi mengajar terhadap kinerja dosen; dan pengaruh manajemen waktu dan motivasi mengajar secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja dosen. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dengan desain penelitian regresi. Populasinya adalah semua dosen di Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Manado. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, yang dianalisis dengan regresi sederhana dan regresi ganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dengan regresi sederhana, kinerja dosen dipengaruhi oleh manajemen waktu, sebesar 93,3%. Kinerja dosen dipengaruhi oleh motivasi mengajarnya, sebesar 97,7%. Secara bersama-sama, kinerja dosen dipengaruhi oleh manajemen waktu dan motivasi mengajar, sebesar 97,9%. Dengan demikian, dapat dibuktikan bahwa ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari: manajemen waktu terhadap kinerja dosen; motivasi mengajar terhadap kinerja dosen; serta manajemen waktu dan motivasi mengajar secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja dosen.

ABSTRACT

The purpose of the research is to obtain the result of analysis and interpretation of the influence of time management on lecturer's performance; the influence of teaching motivation on lecturer's performance; and the influence of time management with teaching motivation together to the performance of lecturers. This research uses quantitative approach and research method used is survey with design of regression research. Its population is all lecturers at Faculty of Engineering, State University of Manado. Data collection is using questionnaires, which will be analyzed by simple regression and multiple regression techniques. The result of analysis shows that in a simple way, lecturer's performance is influenced by its time management, equal to 93,3%. In a simple way too, the lecturer's performance is influenced by his teaching motivation, equal to 97.7%. Simultaneously, the lecturer performance is influenced by his time management and his teaching motivation is 97.9%. Thus, it can be proved that there is a positive and significant effect of: time management to lecturer’s performance; teaching motivation to lecturer's performance; and time management and teaching motivation together to the lecturer's performance.
