INTENSI BERWIRAUSAHA MELALUI MODEL THE ENTREPRENEURIAL EVENT

Abstract


Abstrak

 

Permasalahan  yang menjadi kajian dari penelitian ini adalah mengenai rendahnya intensi berwirausaha mahasiswa perguruan tinggi. Pentingnya mengkaji intensi berwirausaha diperguruan tinggi karena mahasiswa S1  ketika lulus tuntutannya menjadi alumni bisa menciptakan lapangan kerja. Terutama di lingkungan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, alumni yang dari kependidikan yang ingin menjadi guru harus melanjutkan ke PPG, bagi yang tidak melanjutkan salah satu pillihannya adalah berwirausaha. Oleh karena itu perlu dikaji aspek-aspek kegiatan yang dilakukan perguruan tinggi serta lingkungan keluarga  dalam meningkatkan intensi berwirausaha mahasiswa.  Oleh karena itu  tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui  bagaimanakah kelayakan yang dirasakan dan Keinginan yang Dirasakan Terhadap Intensi Berwirausaha. Sehingga akan diperoleh faktor-faktor  apa yang dominan  dari berbagai aspek tersebut dalam meningkatkan intensi berwirausaha.  Grand theory penelitian ini adalah teori Entrepreneurial Event Model dari Shapero dan Sokol.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Explanatory Survey Method. Sampel penelitian yang diambil dari populasi mahasiswa UPI dari 13 bagian, fakultas dan kampus daerah.  Populasi penelitian sebanyak 19.919 mahasiswa dengan ukuran sampel menggunakan formula Isaac & Michael diperoleh ukuran  sebanyak 366 responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket berskala Liker dan  Numerik. Seluruh angket  dilakukan pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas. Teknik pengolahan  data menggunakan analisis Jalur (Path Analysis) dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh  dari variabel-variabel eksogen   terhadap variabel endogen.   laki-laki diberi perlakuan keterampilan lebih tinggi,  serta agar responden yang berasal dari latar belakang keluarga yang berwirausaha ditunjuk menjadi tutor dalam kegiatan kreativitas,.
