Peranan Motivasi Kerja dalam Memediasi Pengaruh Pelatihan Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Coffeeshop di Kota Bandung
Abstract
This study aims to investigate the underperformance of employees at three coffee shops located in Bandung City, namely Kawan Kopi, Work Coffee, and Secangkir Temu. This issue necessitates the implementation of alternative solutions that yield long-term advantages by enhancing the efficacy of job training and boosting work motivation. Hence, the objective of this study is to validate the impact of job training on employee performance, with work motivation acting as a mediator. The study employed an explanatory survey methodology. The data for this study were collected by administering questionnaires to a sample of 80 operational staff and 3 Human Resources Managers with a minimum work experience of 1 year. Through the utilization of descriptive analysis and path analysis employing the Structural Equation Model Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The job training was found to be highly successful, although the motivation for learning and employee performance were both rated as low. The study findings indicate a clear and substantial impact of job training on employee performance, which is further influenced by work motivation.
