ANALISIS KINERJA LEVEL SWITCH VIBRO SEBAGAI PENGGANTI LEVEL SWITCH CONDUCTIVITY PADA SISTEM UAP DI PT INDONESIA POWER UPJP KAMOJANG UNIT PLTP KAMOJANG

Abstract


ABSTRAK

Salah satu instrumen level yang terpasang di unit pembangkit adalah level switch. Pada penelitian ini, level switch digunakan sebagai sistem proteksi ketinggian level air pada kondensor agar level air tetap terjaga. Sensor yang digunakan untuk mendeteksi ketinggian level air adalah level switch tipe vibro yang menggunakan prinsip getaran sebagai batas pengukurannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengukuran level air ini yaitu dengan mendeteksi perubahan nilai arus berdasarakan perubahan frekuensi getaran yang ditimbulkan oleh fluida. Level switch vibro ini diletakkan pada ketinggian level air maksimum, dan pada ketinggian level air minimum yang bertujuan agar level air yang terdeteksi hanya ketinggian level air pada saat air kondensor penuh atau pada saat ketinggian level air kondensor surut. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan nilai frekuensi 150 Hz yang mengindikasikan tuning garpu tidak terendam fluida atau ketinggian air minimum, maka arus yang dihasilkan sebesar 16 mA. Kemudian pada saat nilai frekuensi 50 Hz yang mengindikasikan tuning garpu telah terendam fluida atau ketinggian air maksimum, arus yang dihasilkan sebesar 8 mA. Nilai arus tersebut digunakan untuk memerintah level switch agar mematikan atau mengaktifkan pasokan air pada kondensor agar tetap terjaga. Dengan menggunakan level switch tipe vibro ini, akurasi yang dihasilkan pun lebih baik dan juga kinerja yang dihasilkannya dinilai lebih handal dan akurat.

ABSTRACT

 

One level instrument installed in the generating unit is a level switch. In this study, the level switch is used as a water level altitude protection system in the condenser so that the water level is maintained. The sensor used to detect water level heights is a vibro type level switch that uses the principle of vibration as the measurement limit. The method used in the measurement of the water level that is by detecting changes in current value on the terms of the vibration frequency changes caused by the fluid. This vibro level switch is placed at the maximum water level height, and at the minimum water level height that aims to detect the water level only at the level of the water level when the condenser water is full or when the condenser water level recedes. Based on the research that has been done, the frequency value of 150 Hz indicates that the tuning of the fork is not submerged by fluid or the minimum water level, then the current generated is 16 mA. Then when the frequency value of 50 Hz indicates that the tuning fork has been submerged by fluid or the maximum water level, the current generated is 8 mA. The current value is used to rule the level switch to turn off or activate the water supply on the condenser to keep it awake. By using this type of Vibro switch, the resulting accuracy is better and also the performance produced is considered more reliable and accurate.
