Edukasi Kesehatan Berbasis Teach-Back untuk Meningkatkan Pengetahuan Keluarga Pasien Penyakit Jantung Koroner tentang Tanda Bahaya dan Pencegahan

Abstract


Penyakit jantung koroner (PJK) merupakan salah satu penyakit tidak menular dengan risiko kekambuhan tinggi dan memerlukan keterlibatan keluarga dalam proses perawatan pasien. Kurangnya pengetahuan keluarga mengenai tanda bahaya dan pencegahan kekambuhan dapat meningkatkan risiko komplikasi dan rehospitalisasi. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan keluarga mengenai tanda bahaya penyakit jantung koroner dan pencegahan kekambuhan melalui edukasi kesehatan berbasis teach-back. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Ruang Rawat Inap Penyakit Dalam (Ruang Tulip) RSUD Umar Wirahadikusumah dengan melibatkan 12 keluarga pasien. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui ceramah interaktif, diskusi, teach-back, serta penggunaan leaflet edukasi. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test untuk menilai perubahan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah edukasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata pengetahuan dari 87,5 menjadi 96,67 setelah intervensi. Selain itu, standar deviasi menurun dari 14,12 menjadi 6,51 yang menunjukkan peningkatan pemerataan pemahaman peserta. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa edukasi kesehatan berbasis teach-back efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan keluarga pasien mengenai tanda bahaya dan pencegahan kekambuhan PJK.
